Introduction - What is the Earth and what are the Earth’s Layers?


Bullet point the main ideas:






Paragraph 1

Explain the first layer. 

  • Crust The crust is 30 km thick.

  • The crust is the coldest layer



Paragraph 2

Explain the second layer.


  • mantle the mantle is 1000 degrees hot

  • The mantle is 2,900 km thick



Paragraph 3

Explain the third layer.



  • Outer core the outer core is 2,000 km thick

  • The Outer core is 5,500 degrees celsius 

Paragraph 4

Explain the fourth layer.


  • inner core the inner core is 5,000 degrees celsius

  • The inner core is 1,550 km thick




Conclusion

Summarise the main 

points, refer to the introduction.


It is a 3d round ball that people live on. It's one of the planets, 

it's the 3rd planet away from the sun.


The earth is made up of layers, they are from the core called the inner core to the outer core to the mantle, then finally the crust, the crust is the layer we live on.
